How will the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 affect me?

Unfortunately, many of our powered products have been ruled non-compliant under the "Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020". This "world-first" standard became effective on the 22nd of June 2022 and is only applicable to Australian Consumers.

We are working our way through our many products containing Button and Cell batteries to make these compliant where possible. Products that can not be made compliant we are marking with (Int Sales Only) in the Product Code/Description and the below Bolded paragraph within the description field of the product page. We are hoping that some of these products can still be made compliant in the near future.

Please Note - This item is only available for international sale to residents outside of Australia due to it no longer complying with the new Australian Button Battery Safety Standards.

New products still in transit to us will also need to be tested for compliance. Therefore we may not be able to supply an answer about compliance for all products immediately. We will notify all customers as soon as a product is deemed non-compliant. We will also contact any customer with a product that may require internal changes in order to be made compliant.

If at any point we can not supply a product due to these standards a full refund will be available.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and advise you to visit the ACCC website if you require more information on the standards.
